I wish I could see some good ones to, I think I'm going to send mine back it's plastic looking and I haven't yet figured out a way to take off the stock one w/o keeping it 100%, and if I can't do that I will not install this one.

You mean the stock a-pillar cover, Craig?

It's held on by 3 #2 phillips head screws... all you need is a screwdriver.

Well Devil, I can not find the third screw, might sound obsurd, but I can not get my screwdriver in there at any angle to make contact with a screw. I'm trying to find a non drilling method of just mounting this gauge somewhere...

I'm TRAVELING too but I got mine installed before I left, fit like a glove, went right in. I did redrill the top hole to install the third screw for the new one. I had a very small bow like people have talked about on the first pod but it was very small

Craig, there was a post about the top screw being about 1/4" higher, inside, than the factroy hole. Take a screw driver, slightly pry the top opening up, flashlight and you should see it. I actually felt the phillips go in when I found it. The stock one came out just fine.

I got mine, quality looks pretty good just can't decide what kind of gauges I want? Do you think the ultra light autometer gauges would look good with a carbon fiber dash and momo F16 carbon fiber shift know? decisions decision!

Thanks
Dan

I went with a VDO boost gauge (that came with no hose or fitting hardware) and a Nordskrog Analog Air/Fuel Meter. No pics yet. Not installed. Too cold.

I'll take you some pictures tomorrow. I found that screw and got it off, I took 20 minutes just getting the stock pillar off because I went down each seem w/ a hand razor to get a smooth close cut to the glued surfaces, I have to say I did a good job, the stock one is in perfect condition, nothing was left on the metal of the car, it's all in tact for when I grow up a little. I just did that black and white VDO gauge at LoTek cuz that's where the pod thing was, I like it fine, but I just realized today that the needle is white to, not orange, I don't like that - I wonder if I can take it off and dip it in some orange paint like the ones on the stock gauges...OOOOOR take the needle off the stock boost gauge, mauahahahahaha!
