I noticed a clicking noise some time ago, while I was driving especially near a wall or big curb... the noise is reflected back so you can actually hear it. Recently it seems to have gotten worse, not by much but enough for me to notice. Actually now there is a whistleing as well when I step on the throttle a bit more, happens about 3000+ rpm. Anyone know what the deal is?

Lifters wearing out, or maybe exhaust manifold leak. Or could be the emmission test tube has broken free of the brackets and is rattling against the block. Same thing happened to my 84' got really loud at 3000 rpms. Try a temporary wire tie to hold it in place to see if thats it. (temporary because it will melt)
