Hey,
A friend here in town her has a 944 (89 na) just installed a new radio. He tells me that when her turns his car off, his radio resets all the settings (bass, treble, etc) that he set. My guess is it's cutting off all power, like when you take the battery out...
I'm going to probably help him tomorrow fix it... Got any ideas? I was just going to match up the way I set mine up (which works) with his, and hopefully...
FYI
He's a rice-boy from Cali turned 944 lover.![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Any ideas?
TIA

Simple Solution:
The are almost always two positive wires to be hooked up, one a "constant" (always is powered) and one "switched" (power turns on with ignition key). Yellow is constant and red is switched 99% of the time. Also, black to ground must have ground constantly. If you have both positives to switched or have them reversed, you can still operate the radio, but, without constant power to the correct wire, the memory will reset.
