Default Selling a car?

I tried to make a listing in the marketplace but I guess I haven't posted enough yet.

Just had a baby girl and life comes at you fast. Don't foresee myself having enough time or money to properly maintain this car and have fun with it. So its up for sale.

Here's the Craigslist posting:

http://southcoast.craigslist.org/cto/3918681171.html

But a brief rundown its a 1983 944. Stripped interior, bolt in cage. Aluminum racing seat. Bilstein struts with weltmeister springs and ES bushings. Solid strut mounts. 225/45 front and 245/45 rear hoosier street TDs on early offset phone dials.

Engine runs great timing and water pump were recently done. Has a fresh oil change with WIX filter and 20w50 VR1 oil. Car is in a garage with a cover on it now and is started up and driven around the block every other day.

Could use some minor stuff but its all there. Looking for a quick sale $3,000 obo. My cell # is 5o8-223-797six. Text or call. I'm located in New England, Rehoboth MA to be exact and can deliver within New England for extra. Car has all lights and blinkers and can be driven home no problem.

Thank you guys I wish I could keep this but gotta get rid of the toys and focus more on my new daughter. Hopefully when I'm more financially secure I can get another 944 and come back

You have to be a member to post for sale.

What ky said. Also, don't sell it, you'll be pissed. This car looks like its already good to go.

I see a lot of new parents freak out and sell everything they loved from before they had a child once they do, big mistake and usually rather unneeded. Give it a year and you'll have time to play with this again, plus it will cost you MORE to get another car back to this point than you'll get from selling it.

Well every part of me would like to keep it but I need a more dependable daily. I have a honda civic that has been quite a workhorse but she's getting old and I'd like something alittle newer. The civic is a 95 with 225k on it and if I can sell both I should have enough $$ for a nice sedan and some extra for diapers and anything else my daughter will need. She was born premature so I just would like to pad the savings account alittle extra in case there's unexpected expenses.
