Question M030 Front Struts on non-M030 car?

I have an S2 with stock Sachs front struts.

Are the M030 struts a direct replacement? If not, what modifications are necessary? (Brakes, spindles, rotors, etc.)

Thanks

The Koni Sport Yellow shocks are designed for aggressive driving conditions and have been the shock of choice among SCCA champions for 7 years running. 8741-1136 Sport and 8742-1007 Sport can be adapted to any 944 series car that came equipped with sealed struts.

The 8742-1007 is the M030 shock. And I believe all 1987-1995 cars came with sealed shocks.

This info is off of the Paragon Products web site.

Thumbs up

The M030 struts will bolt right on but you will also need the appropriate M030 spring and perches.

Talking

Thanks guys.

I still do not understand the black art of the interchangability of suspension parts, but at least I know that if I see another good deal on the M030 struts that I can use them.
