the distributor cap on my 924 broke today, so i replaced it and the rotor, but i messed up the firing order some how, and now it is all screwed up, so i need to know which one is number one on the distributor cap because it is not labeled, and which cylinder is # one because i cant tell that either, i need to be able to put them in order, all i have is that the firing order is 1-3-4-2. can anybody help me out, your help would be very apppreciated, thankyou.

There is a mark, looking like a little indentation/line, on the distributor where the base of the distr. cap attaches...When the rotor is pointing at that mark the corresponding plug hole in the cap is #1...That goes to the #1 cylinder...Of course the engine has to be at TDC on #1
Here is a link to a pic of the firing order
A haynes manual explains it all or go to the tech section of 924.org where there is a copy online.
