Post early 944 wont start, need help QUICK. please.

Okay, my 83 944 wont start (Totally dead) after leaving the lights on for 4ish hours while i was in school. My friend tried to jump me but the car would turn about half a turn and stop there. When it had a little juice from the battery cables, i was able to push start it and it fired up, but idled at 250 rpm , and when i reved it up, at 2000 rpm it died Any help is appreciated. Its sitting infront of school right now and i really dont want to tow truck it home

sounds like a flat battery to me.

pull the battery, take it to a gas station and get them to test it/charge it.

or replace it.

well when i tried to start it/jump it, the car would turn over slowly, and when i took the key totally out, the car still tried to turn over and over and over. This sucks, because when my car runs good, im happy, when its broke (every week) im ****ing depressed.

Replace the electrical part of your ignition switch. The contacts are burnt badly and this is creating a large voltage drop. Sounds like you have metal floating free inside the switch too. It is a $20 part.
