I should get my '82 931 back this week! I've had it for 9 months and only driven it 18 miles:

• 6 miles to my house with a bad throwout bearing (since replaced)
• 4 miles under full power with new clutch to fill up the tank
• 4 miles back trying to diagnose the bent valves and blown head gasket (between #2 & #3 cylinders)
• 4 miles being towed by my friend's Blazer to the shop for a head rebuild

What a pain in the A$$, but a least it's almost over!
Moral of the story is: check those timing belts and tensioner pulleys!
