Post Mirror wind noise

For some reason, the driver's side mirror on my 87 924S makes a lot of wind noise (resistance) when I drive at even moderate speeds. I'm not sure why this should be, because both mirrors are stock, are attatched properly, and have never been damaged.

Is there any way to fix (or minimize) this?

Does anyone here have the same problem? No? As the wind noise is quite loud. I can't believe that this is the way that Porsche set the mirror(s) up.

You could upgrade to aero style mirrors, if it bothers you that much. I ride around with the windows down and sunroof off, so I expect wind noise.

Yes the wind noise is loud, annoying and common. Try a set of mirror bras, it will quiet the wind noise.
