Hello,
I hear the way to tell if you've got an exhaust restriction, i.e. clogged cat, is to put a vacuum gauge on the engine. Then rev it up to 2000-2500rpm. If the gauge falls towards zero, you've got a restriction. If it stays the same or rises from the idle reading, all is clear. Can anyone validate this for me?
Thanks,
Tom
