Lightbulb Borbet Type A spec

Hey everyone!

I have a 1987 944S and I'm thinking about putting some nice type A wheels on it. But I don't think Borbet make them in 5x130, so what kind of conversion spacer do I need? What's the tire spec to fit those rims? And 87 944S and 86 944 Turbo share the same bolt pattern and center bore right?

Thanks!

Actually, the Borbet Type A wheels CAN be found in 5x130, but they are difficult to find.

Unfortunately for you, I think they are only made in a very low offset, which will fit ok on the early cars (86 and older) but will not be spaced right for your 87.

The set that I had was 16x7.5 front with I believe approximately ET23, but the rears were an impressive 16x9 with ET11.

I will see if I can dig up some old photos.
