Well, I went and bought this 88 924S I was looking at. Black, 50k miles, a few nicks, dings and one small dent, the car runs good. All it needs are new tires.
Any ideas on where I can find a possible source of body panel parts?
VIN# WPOZZZ92ZJN450593
Also, other than the LeMans edition, were there any other special options on this model?
Thanks,
Jim

I love the 924S. That was my first Porsche.
GT Racing has all sorts of body kits for the 924. You could also purchase them through Lindsey Racing because they are a reseller and you will receive the same price most likely.
Hey all the 944 and especially 911 owners will make fun of you but don't let it get to you!
The 924S is cool. And after you pull away from a na 944 you can laugh last. (The 924S ended up being faster then it's 944 sibling due to the lighter weight yet same mechanics/engine, which, I read, is partly why they killed the 924S).

This 944 owner won't make fun of you. 924S's are 944's under the skin, with a body that has less drag (hence may be faster). Even the older 924's for all their shortcomings were good cars when compared to their competitors, it's just the name meant they were compared to the 911's.
