Low tech stereo question???
Don't know if you all remember, but I put my stock Blaupunkt back in, and was experiencing the ignition whine. I tried to fix it, but...
What I am wanting to know is the exact wire map of it all. (this color to this color sort of thing.)
Thanks, I'm an idiot.
BTW-I am color blind (red, green), so don't use any funny women colors. Blue, black, white, brown, red, green, etc. I can catch the shades, so take it easy on me.

Hi Jon

Not completely your year but the radio parts is the same.
Identical schematic is on Pelicanparts web site as well. http://www.pelicanparts.com/944/elec...84_sunroof.jpg
This suggests to use the red/blue wire (switched) from the "sun roof relay" for the radio
I would simply use the red wire from the radio connector block for power. There are two: use the big one.(constant power, even with the key out).
The power for the antenna is from the back of the radio, thus switced by the radio.
Brown is always negative (with Porsche that is...)
Guess you are expecting something, so here it is:
Self critisism is the first step to perfection, you are well on your way...
Take care, use volt meter for color determination and have fun...
