Post Watter Wetter question

it says 1 ounce per quart....or in our cases I think that comes to 5 ounces, but I've seen some posts that seemed to say put the whole bottle in. Which is correct? And, are there any problems associated with using this stuff seeing as our Engine Blocks cause chemical reactions to several types of antifreezes? Also, did it help?

I run pentosin (sp?) antifreeze 50/50 mixed with water, two bottles of water wetter, turbo pump, larger radiator, low temp switch, and low temp thermostat.

Just water wetter alone will help (and did in my case). I have been using it on every car I've owned in the last 3 years or so, haven't seen an adverse effect to date.

*biased, but relevant*

I saw a 1/2 bar drop in summer operating temps after adding water wetter (and nothing else)... even sitting in grid after a run I never see anything above the first bar. Even more important than water wetter is the antifreeze type you run. Always use Phosphate free.

I know of no adverse effects to running Water Wetter. The tagline Redline uses to promote this is very true... "lower engine temps means more horsepower"

Also, I add the whole bottle... my wife won't let me use her measuring cups

Good Luck!

I use the whole bottle too, and I seem to run a little cooler then I did with out it. After blowing a hose a couple months ago, I refilled the system without water wetter, and the temp was back up there.
