If I remember right Kraut was from the first World War and Jerrys was from the second World War, I guess we could be Jerrys kids.LOL

Krauts was from both wars I think. It's still slang, as in "Japs" or something of that nature. I hate sour kraut anyway, so let's stick with bratwurst. They are tasty.

Watch the Band of Brothers series and you may think again before calling someone a kraut.

This is of important note. Calling comeone a kraut can get you the same reaction as calling a black person certain racial slurs. On the other hand, I am full of kraut and I don't call it to people face, so I don't worry.
