Feeler if anyone would be interested in my 948 Cab
I'm considering a Maserati CambioCorsa F1 or a 2000 Lotus Esprit V8 and I'm buying a new home so there is only room for one toy. May consider selling the S2. Some of you over the years know the car and some don't so I'll post a couple of pics.
Extremely clean, custom leather interior, Ruf seats, all major services done in the past three years, brand new torque tube from Black Sea industries, Big Red brakes and stainless steel brake lines, brand new Koni coilover suspension, Brey Krause strut brace, rear parcel shelf, wind deflector, and brand new matte white wrap. The obvious 968 touches as well. Has a great stereo system as well with Nakamichi subwoofer and amp in the trunk. Car is as clean as you're going to find.
the car comes with two sets of wheels. The pictured Sport Classic IIs with zero curb rash, pristine condition and a set of almost pristine Antera 309 wheels.
this is about as complete an S2 package you're going to find. Shoot some offers here.
thanks

Without seeing mileage, I'm gonna say $12, 975 will be the top offer... ( sorry not an offer to buy).
I'm sure you have at least double that invested in upgrades alone, ya?
Lovely car and such a rarity.. glws

Never considered selling her so have no idea what well sorted S2 go for. Shes got 36k on the clock. 12k definitely won't do it. I was thinking 16 was fair for a one of a kind S2, I don't think there is another like her. I may just keep her than give her away.
The cockpit of this thing is a truly wonderful place to be. It feels modern and everything is sorted out. Has built in XM/Serius radio in a custom panel where the ashtray used to be.
Thanks

I think 15-16k is fair based on condition, mileage and what $$$ has gone into it. Not much for convertibles but Id put it in the garage. Good luck with whatever you choose.

The paint beneath the wrap is clean, just 24 years old. No dings on this car at all. The paint still has clear coat. I have pics of the car on rennlist before the wrap, just search my threads I guess.
It is idling there in that pic at 1200, which I guess is normal for that day. LOL
I call it a 948 because its half 944 half 968.
Doesn't seem to be much interest. I'll probably end up keeping it. But I'm really looking on Ebay and craigslist what people are asking for tatty ratty cars and I could easily charge 18k for this car. Its that clean. It still looks modern and it has several new major components.
Thanks I'll think about how much I want that Carrera S I just spotted down the street.
