There's got to be at least 22 of us here on the board. How 'bout we all pitch in $1000 and buy that white 968 for sale on the classifieds, and time share it out. We each get about two weeks a year to enjoy it. (Me first)

on another note - i've never had the chance (or privilege) to drive someone else's car, be it a 944/951/968. one that is in "good" shape which could serve as a point of reference to know how a car is "supposed" to behave, therefore gauging ride feel, steering response, handling, cornering feedback, acceleration, idle. i'm not talking about extreme driving, just regular stuff. sometimes i think we take our cars for granted and we get used to a particular type of behavior. getting in the driver's seat of someone elses car could be reality check.

tom: you're just dreaming in public.

...left wondering about "reality".

Deni, didn't I give you a ride in my car at the last Pizza Run? Maybe that was someone else...

perhaps andrew...?

nonetheless, hence the need to have more pizza runs (but hey, once a year is cool - as long as it's not raining too hard and a lot of people show up).

i'm new to this stuff - and it's cool! not too people on this planet that share the same enthusiasm, you know.
