Post 944t quits

My 944t cuts out, engine stalls and quits at cruise and sometimes during acceleration. After sitting for awhile it start again. Happens when cold or hot. Changed DME relay no help. A good local shop ran it for 4 hours, drove it checked everything they could think of and found nothing. We are stumped. Any ideas.
Thanks

M; this has all the telltale signs of a ecu ( brain ) having a bad solder joint. If you have a friend close by , try swapping it out.Since you have changed the dme relay ,the only other thing i think it could be would be a bad tdc sensor or coil. HTH

A short between the DME and the Fuel Pump relay (AKA DME relay) can cause the symptoms that you describe.
