If it happens the snow will finish melting off, and I will drive the Porsche tomorrow! In January! In Minnesota!

Fingers crossed...

Cool

See here in San Diego it has been about 75 degrees for the past week or so, The best part is that there is no change in site.

What's wrong with driving in the snow? Isn't that why the tire gods invented snow tires?

SALT. If the roads are clear and dry, I will venture out upon them. Otherwise, I will keep Bessie in the car-hole and count the other plentiful blessings I enjoy... like not living in California...

Thanks Thaddeus, I'm home sick today, but it's 42 degrees out and my Fuchs need cleaning before being put away for the winter. Your post made me check the thermometer, and now my wheels are clean.

I would much rather keep my 944 clean and in the garage but I must say it is quite fun to drive in the snow. It slides a bit easier but seems much more controllable then my wives '98 Eclipse Turbo, which is fwd. In the 944 just lift off and counter steer and it will usually straighten out. If you get the Eclipse sideways hope that there is nothing in your way. I love drifting around the parking lots. I feel like a ralley car driver. Thats probably as close as I will get.

Have yet to drive the 44 in the snow, but a 96 Chrystler LHS doesn't do donuts very well in the mall parking lot in a foot of snow...

My dad overheard me telling that to a friend, gave me a harsh look (it's his LHS) then preceded to tell me how he once got his dad's VW up to 40 mph or something spinning around... HAHAHA.

there's nothing wrong with living in cali, well, except traffic. but hey, at least i get to drive my machine *every single day* without worrying about salt! It's been hovering around 34 at night and 62 (day), (that's between 1 & 17 deg. C for those not living on this cultural vacuum we call USA). I'd never live anywhere else, well ok, i'd live in one or more of the following: antibes, cannes, monaco, nice, st. rafael, juan les pins, etc. ...guess watching f1 would be easier.

I don't want to hear it, Thad. I'm sitting here working on Sat. Blah. Need new front tires anyway. Hope this weather keeps it up long enough for met to get 'em on. Hey, how's that hatch coming? I want to see that some time.

Jon, I think you're coming down with something. Something that requires you to leave work immediately! Something that will only be cured by a drive along the Mississippi river road. C'mon, you owe it to yourself, health comes first, right? Your boss will understand...

I'd be happy if it wasn't below freezing after 7pm. When I home from work I head to the garage and kick on the heater. By 10pm, I can't feel my fingers. Needless to say, not much has been done with the engine bay paint prep!

Well.. looks like the only thing to do for a while is work on the LED's and clean parts that are in the basement. And you all complain about it too cold and snowy to drive!

I WISH!!!!
