Post Blaupunkt Radio Removal

Is there an easy way to remove the radio? I know there is a tool to pop into the holes but have never seen it.

Dealer will pop it out for free but will take a couple hours to go over and back. can you just stick nails or such into the two holes on each side?

Take a wire coat hanger, cut it into 4 pieces, make sure all the pieces are straight, push them deep into the 4 holes surrounding the faceplate of the stereo, and stick your fingers in the tape deck and the stereo should slide right out. This is the first question I ever asked this web board IIRC. Hope that helps.

Thanks, Ribs. That is what I thought but didn't want to tear up any plastic bits if I missed something - it worked like a charm. Thanks.
