Most of the parts the paint won't last because of the high heat.

BTW, what is the verdict on the car?

there is such a thing as engine paint. and as you may have guessed from the name it withstands incredably high heated areas and it will last. I am not sure where to get it but i think it was a guy here or on pelican that painted his wheels in it.....light blue 944 i believe.....great looking wheels too.

Craig, I believe you could powder coat your engine which will deffinetley hold up much better than paint. Their some comapnies like VHT who do make high temp engine paint I've had some good luck with before. Rick Moroso (yes the owner of Moroso) did a guys engine I know with some industrial marine grade high temp paint that i believe he got from a local marine supply store and the stuff is hard as nails (harder than powder coating he told me) and has lasted well over 4 years now and still looks good as new. Then there are always some of these new thermal coatings which i believe are similar to ceramic coating but can be a variety of colors.

Oh, you should be able to get the VHT paint at any good sized auto parts store.
