From pro member/mechanic PorscheDoc: 1988 BMW 535i or so:

More info.
You can get the BMW sensors with black plastic ends-really cheap or the silver caped ends.
I prefer the silver caped ends.

Removal is difficult if the sensor "O" ring is rotted---be very careful not to break the sensor in half.

I ordered mine through my shop at worldpac but you can get them from Partsgeek.com for like 80 bucks a sensor. Mine I wanna say was 88 535is which is a friend of mines track car. And they have longer wires because they go into the bottom of the e28s bell housing. Which is better because you can rout them out of the way and keep them away from heat so the dont get brittle. I use an old O2 sensors heat shrink/ heat shielding which is like a firebraid and protects them even further.

After market sensors seem to be trouble free according ro the posts I've read here,so I ordered them through Lindsey Raciing for $40 bucks apiece! I will check out Parts Geek though for sure next time out!
