[Hey Doug where abouts you located in southern MD? If you ever head up to Summit Point Race Track or the Charlestown Races and Slots You go by my house. I'm where Maryland, Virginia and west Virginia all meet. I go to the Potomac PCA Octoberfest in Lovettsville Va. in Sept to show the red 84. Purchased from original owner with 22K in 2010. It has snagged 1st, 2nd and 1st again in past 3 years. Only got the S2 6 weeks ago, replacing my other 944, "Goldie" an 84 I used as DD for 2 1/2 years, still only had 109,000 on the clock. With lots of life left in her my brother is now enjoying "Goldie" and given her a good home.

Do you have a pic of the broken end? Love to see how it failed....I am guessing there was a defect of some sort because that does not happen at idle.
