I have an 83 944 spec car that blew its 88 engine. The rod bearings spun, thanx to the oil pressure relief valve failing. I found an 84 motor. I'm going to install the turbo oil cooler setup from the 88 motor, on the 84 motor. The 84 motor came with a 3 piece relief valve. Should I use that valve, or buy a new one piece valve? I can get a one piece from another racer for $150, but if I can use what I have I'd rather save the money. Can I use the 3 piece valve with the external oil cooler setup?

I'm also trying to figure out how to adapt lines to the external oil cooler. The cooler has 10AN Female fittings. Does anyone know what size adapter I need so I can use the stock lines?
