Clarks Garage. Only for 2.5 2.7 and Turbo?

I don't see any S2 specific information there, including the balance shaft belt area. Would the normal 944 information carry over to an S2? Or any other stuff on that website?

I'm running an S2 block, and setting the balance shafts is the exact same as an 8v. As far as cam timing, the workshop manual should provide all the necessary information for you.
