Post 944 turn signals

Hey folks, this is my first posting in a long time, I am still probably registered by another address, but I have forgoten it.

Anyway, here is my problem. My 84, 944 has broken turnsignals. When I put the turnsignal on, the green light on the dash illuminates but does not flash, and the turnsignals outside the car do nothing. I have checked the bulbs, ground, and have changed the turnsignal fuse, and relay. I have also changed the emergency flasher switch, and the turnsignal switch it self, I can't think of anything else to do. Oh, by the way, the emergency flashers work fine. I know that the turnsignal switch is ok, as is the fuse, bulbs, and the emergency flasher switch. The relay also works in another car. What the holy heck could the problem be? Help will be greatly appreciated.

Probably a "nice" wiring problem under the dash....
Take care (and have fun )
