Default sparco race seat mounts in 944

So I mounted the passenger seat to the floor in our 944. The problem is I need to move it back and there is no way to do it short of drilling new holes which I dont want to door.

Is there an adapter plate made buy anyone the allows the seat to be monted farther back.

For example I have a brey krause adapter bracket in my cayman and there is a way to mount it father back.

Any advice would be great, search did not reveal anything..

I don't think there is a bolt in solution to do what you are looking to do without using sliders. Same problem I had putting the seat in my 944 track car project. Yes the side mounts will actually line up with the factory seat mounting holes. The downside being I would have had to shrink 4-6" to fit comfortably.

All the 944s I have seen at the track had some fabrication done to bolt the seat in without sliders for taller drivers.

Thank you. I was afraid of that. That factory location is too close.

Time to get creative.

Try 425 Motorsports for a bracket that mounts to the floor. I think you can bolt a seat or slider to that bracket.
I have a momo seat on sliders for my driver seat and it is good for me. The sparco pass seat is a bit awkward in its seating angles so I was planning to eliminate the slider and bolt it to the floor which I guess I can't do.

If you need oem sliders let me know. I drilled new holes for the bucket seats I had at one point.
