I've done a bit of searching, but haven't found the exact issue I'm looking for. I test drove a 1986 951 today. The car was in decent shape of my purposes (daily driver and track car), but does have a few issues I'd like to remedy. The most pressing being an idle that surges between 1k and 1.2k, and inoperable AC and Heat. I suspect these are both related to a vacuum issue, but am not familiar enough with the car to know for certain. This would be my first 951, so I'm seeking advice from the all-knowing Rennlist. Thanks for the help!

how does it boost? are the vacuum lines old?

It drove very well, seemed to boost as I expected.
