Default 968 Tiptronic to 6-speed swap

968 w/Tiptronic change to 6-speed swap. Who had done it?
By chance, a doner 968 with complete 6-speed manual transmission and all other stuff is found.

It is difficult to sell this Tip and buy another 6-speed.

Difficult procedure? Very difficult?

Please advise. Thanks.

It's a lot of work, you'll need to do a lot of under dash work to swap the pedals and install a clutch master. The motor will need to come out so you can swap the bellhousing and torque tube and clutch assembly, the dme has to be changed, the shifter has to be changed along with the console, the shift rod has to be installed whole the TT is out. There my be wiring changes involved. Don't really know on that front.

Sell your tip and buy a 6 speed, or gut your car for the 6 speed parts car and make it work. Anything besides selling it will be a lot of time.
