Question M44/09 46J compatible with head from M44/07 43F?

Hi guys,

First p-car, saved it from a junkyard. 1985.5 944 (2.5L)

I've accidentally damaged the crank in the M44/07 block and found an 09 shortblock for sale - is this a suitable replacement?

If not, how about just moving the crank 09 into my 07 block??

Many thanks for info.

They are both 2.5N/A blocks. The new one will work, no problem.
