Question Oil cooler seal change

I am changing the seals on my n/a oil cooler. The Rennlist procedure doesn't mention draining oil or coolent. I am about to take off the case. should I be draining coolent before I take the case off? Or just catch what comes out? Thanks!

Thumbs up

Anyone thinking of changing the seals? If so, good idea to drain the coolent out of the radiator first. You'll still get some, but not the flood I entertained! The oil can stay in until after the runup. Not too bad to do. I found the bolts easiest to access from underneath. Took me a whole day, this being my first time. The tech page suggests 90 minutes. sounds pretty fast for mere mortals. Good luck brave souls
