Post Where can I get a decent mirror bra/cover?

My mirrors' paint is all chipped and so on, just want to hide it until the paint job (ca. 2003).

TIA

Cool

The mirrors and lower front end of my 85.5
are really beat up. I bought a colgan bra and
mirror bras form Performance Products. They
fit great and look fantastic. The mirror bras
were about $15 each. I wish I had bought them
sooner. good Luck

I looked at them, they have a hook & eye fastener, do they look good? Tight? I don't want to go around with something that looks like I got 2 big prunes stuck on the side of my car...

Thumbs up

The mirror bras have a black bungee cord like loop that runs through them. You stretch this to fit over the mirror, it snaps down in the groove between the painted part of the mirror and the black trim piece surrounding the glass. You cant see it when its in place and the bra material itself all fits real tight, no wrinkles. The velcro, or eye/hook fastener, is underneath and lets you take up any slack, if there is any, and secure the whole thing down. No flapping in the wind. nothing hanging off. Just a clean, dark sweet looking thing. My car is dark graphite metallic, from a distance you can't even tell I have them on. If the paint wasn't pitted, I wouldn't. Good luck.
