andyk - sorry if that was a little over your head...basically, it's a great-sounding HU and the aftermarket speakers and subs will only make it an even greater addition to your car.

Got it!

So, how does the FM sound though? I am almost sold on the 45z--but I saw more complaints about reception...?

No it don't need it....but I do! The 4X6's in the front and rear (I don't care what kind you have) just don't cut it for me, they have NO bass and you can get no depth or real feel for the music, some people are satisified with the stock speaker configuration but I am not one. I got to have my tunes . I will add that I am not a young banger or rapper...........Just a 40 year old that loves good music.
