wheel polishing
my boss just finished with his wheels. he has the same fuchs wheels as i got on my 944 and i have to admit i was really surprised how it worked. he used 300 grit sandpaper to get the anodized layer of the the wheel off, thne he climbed to a higher grit paper to remove the scratches. he also used Mothers mag polish to buff the wheels and they came out mirror like. the only problem it takes about 6 hours to sand the wheels. i started the front wheel and its really hard is there any other way? has anybody else done this?

If you can get your hands on an auto sander it would make most of this job a lot quicker. You can use the same grade of sandpaper on auto sander, but you might not need as much since the sander cycles pretty quickly. You probably still need to do some of the odd angles by hand though. I'not sure what auto sanders are going for these days but I don't think they are more than $30 for a halfway decent one. Hope this helped.
