As long as you're sure the lower 951 bracket will work I'll send payment today. It does make the radiator go slightly below the bottom of the n/a bumper. I don't want to have to buy an n/a rad just to fit the splitter.

What is slightly below? With the bolts done up it will suck up to the lip of the valance. Another option is the bolts and then two sided tape on the front lip like the 996 GT3 guys do to hold their splitters in place. Another option would be a few small screws into the lip of the valance through the splitter.

You can sort of tell here, and yeah my bumper has seen better days. The radiator comes down about a quarter inch below the valence.

I really don't think that's a big issue..The screws in the front lip to splitter would be a big help holding the bumper together. Another thought would be to cut a slot in the undertray portion of the splitter to create clearance for the rad.

Guys,
I just had a request for someone to get there deposit back cause they don't want to tinker with their car putting on a splitter to a modified and damaged vehicle. I will send the refund. Needless to say I am a little choked NO A LOT CHOKED!!!!!!!!!
I didn't build this thing for my health and asked for a deposit so people would commit. I did my share of the agreement and hope like heck the rest of you will live up to your end.

Thank you,
Joe

Jeez, no reason to throw a bitch fit on the board. I don't recall the deposit ever being "non refundable" anyway.

You're still getting over $3000 for just a few slight modifications to the existing 951 splitter. Maybe someone will be willing to take over my deposit and send me $125 so they can get in on the $250 price.

It's no a bitch fit merely stating fact. The deal was we have fifteen people wanting to commit to a splitter and I would build a mold. I don't see commitment as backing out once the project is completed. And no it wasn't a few slight modifications to an existing piece. True originally that's what I was hoping to do but once I got into it the 951 part is so different I started from SCRATCH. This is entirely new no part of the 951 splitter is in this.

Yes I'm getting over $3000 for the splittters. Now deduct the 100 plus hours I have into the mold the materials for the mold and lastly the time and materials for the splitters. I do this as a hobby because I work full time as a moldmaker but I do like to break even on my HOBBY

I'll ask around in my P car club if anyone wants one, maby if they combine shipping it will sting a bit less.
Unfortunately, the splitter is not viable on my car as it is in breach of the rules for the main series I am going to be competing in.

Hi Joe,
I'm asking a few kiwi n/a rennlisters if they will combine for shipping with me and make up your 15th. I'll send the balance for mine sans shipping until thats quoted. Do you have any photos of the whole car with the splitter mounted? and photos looking at the fitment at the bottom?

if theres any Aussies interested also, please let me know and we can come to arrangement re: shipping.

Joe, you'll be fine and we appreciate your efforts. I'm sure there are people sitting on the sidelines and you will sell a bunch of these outside the group buy later in the year. I will need two but am not ready for them right now and am willing to pay the extra $50 a piece later. Also quite sure when people see them fitted on other cars they will want one.

I'm with Joe on this one. If you committed to this buy you should live up to your part of the bargain. A lot of these products are done by hobbyist for the good of the community. If we screw them over these type of offers may disappear. So stand up to your commitments guys. Do your home work before making commitments.
Rant over.
Fred
