Whats the window? No point in having money just sitting around for a month if 2 more people aren't interested.

Update

Received the last two deposits yesterday morning to get to 15. Last night I made a 951 part to use as the template for the new part. I should be seeing an NA tonight or tomorrow night to start the fitting process. I will take the 951 part and cut and paste as necessary.

If anyone still wants to get in on the group buy they can do so by sending the 125 deposit. This will remain open until the mold is finished and the first part produced. After that the pieces will be 300.

I will keep you all posted with the progress.

Hi guys,
A quick update. I've seen three cars and made a template of the bottom of the valance. As well thanks to Andrew I now have a valance to use for the development work. Tomorrow night i start cutting and pasting MDF to shape to build the pattern.

Hi guys,
The pattern is almost done. Went for a fitting this morning and the blade was slightly off angle. Came back to the shop did some more cutting and pasting and going back around four this afternoon for hopefully the final fit. Other than the blade being at an angle the fit to the valance was good. I hope to get a surface on the pattern tonight so I can start polishing tomorrow in preperation for mold release.

Default splitter pictures

Managed to get some pictures of the splitter. This is before I started sanding and polishing so please don't be concerned about the finish quality. Hopefully it will be all shiny by the end of the day and tomorrow I can gel coat and start laying up the mold.
Any folks still interested in getting in on the group buy price it's time to act now as the mold is getting closer to completion.
