I am starting to look around for a complete carpet replacement set for my 944 and am interested to know where you guys have got your carpet from and what the quality is like, did it fit well, does it look original etc.


I would prefer to go with OEM style cut sections of carpet rather than a moulded carpet set.

get a precut & premolded. THe ones that came in from the factory were premolded. Performance products has the best deal overall i've seen yet on a full carpet kit. DO NOT get it from autoatlanta.

 

Have been slowly but surely replacing bits and wornout pieces of the interior of my Porsche ever since I got it 3 years ago. Every time I needed new OEM rugs I asked my mechanic. I have now replaced all my mats + the rear hatch carpet for next to nothing by buying from other customers that are turning their Porsches into track cars. They always get rid of interior bit and pieces and they are usually very willing to get ride of the rugs cheap. They may be used but in a lot of cases they're in good condition. Original Fit Interior- you should be able to find their # by looking up one of their ads in Excellence or Pano- if you have trouble, or don't have access to one of the mags, then e-mail me, and I'll get you the #- they don't have a website AFAIK...
