I was looking in a catalog and ran across a 944S2 metal emblem for the rear end of the car. My car doesn't have one of these emblems (90 944S2 Cab). Should it have this emblem?

I don't know about the cab, but the coupes I have seen all had 944 and then S2 subscripted (I think). Does your car look like this:
from the back? Mines a turbo.

S2s have a different logo tupe than either the turbo script or the 944 NA. 944 is in thin block letters and S2 is dropped down in the same text. I'll take a picture and post. Or at least I will try.

To the best of my knowledge, the cabriolets do not have a model emblem. Recently, I studied the sales brochure pictures to confirm. The only cabriolet emblems are the two "16 ventiler" (sp?) logos on the sides.
