Thanks, that makes sense and is helpful.

If 16x8" and 225 tires fit with coil overs, I would be very interested to know.

My next question will be whether or not aftermarket coilover collars have the same thread pitch as the factory M030 shocks - if they do and aftermarket-sized springs will allow more front tire, that will definitely affect my plans for suspension work (when I get around to it)

It will be very tight under the fender if they fit at all, unless you add negative camber.

Thanks, I figure that the 225's would be basically maxing out the front tire. Do you think they might fit on a 16x7" wheel? Would running 225's on all 4 corners but with staggered wheels be a problem?

Stock suspension, no. 225s are just to wide with 16x7s or 16x8s, doesnt matter. 215s are as wide as you can go.

For 225s you need smaller diameter coils, and you need camber adjustment to clear the fenders.

One of these days I will actually mount a 225 on my 16x7s and answer this.

I may see if the local shops have a used one I can try for the cost of mounting.
