Hi all,

This is gonna be a tricky one to describe so ill do me best. The problem happens when in first and pulling away from rest and only happens/is more noticeable on an incline. The problem is the car kinda shudders from rest the transmission or i dunno the engine feel well... juddery ... cant really describe it very well. I suspect maybe engine mount maybe some mouting point broken??? I will get under the car soon but it would be helpful to know where to look

My first guess would be clutch "chatter" caused by a worn clutch. When was the last time the clutch was changed ?

Does it vibrate alot at idle also. If so, it could be motor mounts(common failure).

hi all,

eric - no not at idle .. the change to 2nd is sometimes clunky so im guessing its clutch rather than mount.

Bob - couldnt tell you without ploughing through the service history ... i expect its clutch . Having this verified by local specialist tomorrow so ill let you know !
