In November, I hear Koni will have front struts for us 944S2 owners. I'm planning on replacing mine when I get some of them, and was wondering if there are other things that should be replaced or updated at that time. I realize much is personal preferences, but wanted to hear ideas from rennlist people.
The rear shocks were shot, and I recently replaced them with KYB gas-adjust shocks from TireRack. Let's just say they are worth what I paid for them, so when I do the fronts I'll likely put Koni's on the back. After all that's done, I need to adjust the ride height, as it's off by .75 inch on one side.
My 1991 944S2 has 143,000 miles on it, and it's my daily commute car when weather permits.

It is a good time to check the condition of the following:
A-arm balljoints
Brake Rotors
Brake Pads
Brake Calipers
Flexible Brake Line
Sway Bar Bushings
For better handling (less understeer) you may want to consider adding a strut brace. Of course, there are always fatter sway bars that can be added.
