I would second his opinion of "Work on the driver first..." I wish I were as good a driver as my car is good at being driven. But then again, I have a really fun suspension and play with it often.

My car is less than 13" from wheel center to fender lip. It was lowered by an "expert" recommendation to the previous owner, but I'll be having it set more sensibly per my own "expert"'s recommendation :-).
Hopefully they didn't reindex the torsion bars to get there, as I'd rather spend the $$ on track time. Thanks for the info, much appreciated.
