My wipers have had some issues for a while now. Usually when I turn them on and off during a long drive, they stop working periodically. Then they start up again. The other day they stopped working completely. I replaced the relay at the fuse box and they still don't work. Where should I look next? Wiper motor or the switch on the steering column? Something else?

I would first look at the switch on the steering column. Mine were all corroded and just needed some cleaning.

Thanks Tim. I'll check that this weekend. Any other ideas of places to look while I'm under the dash in case that doesn't do the trick?

check for power across the motor terminals, the brushes can wear out in these things and then the comutator gets burnt, sometimes a clean is all that is required.
