Default Any tub/structural differences between S2 and 968 Cabs?

Talking w/ a friend that is looking to buy either, and he had been told that the 968 cab is structurally stiffer than the S2 cab. Never heard that before and don't know what would be different in the tubs. Anyone have info on this?

He's buying a cab and worried about the structural rigidity of the chassis? If that's a concern don't get a cab, they are all much less rigid despite 150# of extra metal welded in. Another concern he might not have thought about is if he is tall they are a pain to get in and out of. I'm 6'-1" and felt like I was getting into a child's toy.

I have never heard of any structural difference between a 44 and 68 cab. The cabs do have the triangular front shock tower brace a la turbo S chassis. Not on point, but you can see the difference in floor pan sections between a coupe and cab here: https://rennlist.com/forums/924-931-...-pictures.html
