Running wires through the firewall??

I was defeated in my attempt to install my air/fuel meter because I could not figure out how to run the wires through the firewall.

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Behind the battery, below the windshield is the where the antenna wire runs through. You can pop out the rubber grommet. Run your wires through and then silicone up the hole.

Your 89 may be different from my 84, but it was fairly easy to run a wire where the wires to the heater blower go thru the firewall.
