Post Imagine this on a 944...

I was looking through some electronic ignitions and found this one. I want to get an electronic ignition for my car sometime in hopes to up the performance a little. Does anyone know about the "Omni Magnum" as well? I see it listed in Performance Products catologue and it looks pretty good.

Tim, IMHO I'd probably stick with the APE/Autothority type chips that modify the computer-controlled fuel mixture, redline and timing issues. I have mine chipped, and it made a nice difference in how the car drives/accelerates. Plus it's made to work specifically in your car, without much chance of frying anything. I don't think that hotter spark alone is going to realize that much of a noticeable power gain. Just my 2 cents..
