That was probably me! Not many other 944's in this area, but a few. I definitely do not mind having forest roads 15 minutes from my house!

I'll be in las cruces with my 944 starting this fall for at least the next 4 years at NMSU! It'd be cool to have some nm fun runs / get togethers

I'm not sure I have anything that is a "Daily Driver" anymore. I've managed to rack up 10 vehicles.....and I don't commute to a job at the moment so have no real need to drive at all

But.....when summer comes my wife daily drives the 951 as much as she can.

Here it sits outside while its space in the garage is being used to fix my Eurovan.

my car is pretty rough up close. lots of small dings and scratches. 5 yrs of no garage has taken its toll on the paint. The paint on the roof is starting to go and lot of road rash on the bonnet, headlight covers and badge panel.

Here is my daily driver. I put on about 1000km per week with it. I've had some hiccups, but it has not left me on the side of the road yet....maybe I shouldn't have said that..quick someone find me a big piece of wood to knock on..
Though it doesn't look this nice right now..It is covered in winter filth right now. Next warm day I'll wash it again. It is certainly holding its own in winter driving. I have a nice set of Pirelli snows on it, and it just loves the snow!

Here's my 86. 155K mi Paint's not too bad. Small bubble next to ds headlight washer nozzel, few dents in the rockers, etc. The only real issue paint wise is above each door. Down w/a sick alt at the moment...

pic from the fs ad when I bought it last May:

I had to swing by my Mom's so she could see it. That's her DD, '00 Boxster just rolled over 100K. Since retiring she doesn't drive as much anymore. Her 84' Carrera had 240K when she had me sell it to buy this one (she's 72).

Here is my DD 85.1 Na have put 14k miles on her with the electric water pump and balance shaft delete. Also put in a new clutch about 2k miles ago. So mechanically she is pretty sound so far. Cosmetically, I am still working on that.

Please excuse the filth on the car I just finished some body work and snaped the photos right after.
