Post Looking for Exhaust Manifold

Sorry for the x-post.

Hey guys, just found out there is a small hole in my turbo exhaust manifold for cylinders 1 and 4. Are there any aftermarket units that are better than stock? If not, does anyone know a good source to get it from?

Thanks.

The only aftermarket items that I have seen for the Turbo are from B&B. At around US$1,000.00. Or you can replace them with original items (but I think this route is even more expensive) or try to find a good set of used ones.

Good luck. My car is in the same situation, with exhaust leaks coming from the exhaust manifolds, I was thinking of first trying to repair the old ones and see how much that lasted.

Just a thought for a repair. if the hole is easy enough to get at, and there is some meat to the metal. try using a pipe tap close to the hole size. and after tapping the hole insert a pipe plug... Just a thought.. good luck.

One other thought is to have the hole welded shut.

Ooop's sorry about this, is the pipe infront of the turbo? if it is you can NOT tap the hole without removing the pipe.. there will be a few curls of metal from the tap.. I do not think the turbo would appreciate the metal..
