Question NEED HELP

What is the idleing speed for an 84 944na? Mine idles really high, like 1300 and sometimes higher. I know it needs to be a lot lower than this. Where does it need to be specifically? Thanks.

One tip about setting/resetting idle. The dealer recently did mine, and the way they do it is to unplug the idle control valve, or I guess in your case the auxiliary air valve, set the idle, and then reconnect it. I assume the process applies for both early and late models, but I may be wrong. Idle should be about 900-950.
