Where is the original DIY rear coil over writeup? I see the sticky post how to but not the write up.

How do you like the spring rates?

Thanks,
pete

The 350/550 worked out very well for my needs. The car is extremely well balanced with these spring weights and it's much much less likely to misbehave on the track, even with my erratic noobish inputs.

For the street, it's plenty comfortable. By my tastes, I could have gone much harder before being annoyed by it. On I95 where there are some 'jumps' in the pavement the car will drop like a stone which is a bit uncomfortable but the majority of the time it's fine.

On the track, I wish I had gone a hundred pounds heavier. You can plant it very deep in to the valleys and corners, but I suspect it could be a lot more reactive.

Someone recommended 400/650 and that may well be the better place to go if you're doing track. But I haven't tried it for myself to know.

This MAY be what you are looking for...

Robstah mysteriously disappeared from Rennlist, as did every single trace of him and his posts. It's a shame, he had a lot of good knowledge shared over the years.
